Airship Rocketship

It seems like a billion years since we started in on this one. Amidst what might go down as the gnarliest year of them all, we somehow managed to get these six songs finished. Friends and strangers alike: you can now visit this website and download our first EP absolutely free of charge, no strings attached (brought to you by the good people of Honor Roll Music and the roughians over at Atomisk). The much ballsier second EP, "FEAR" remains a work-in-progress, slowly inching its way through the soil up towards the sun.

As for the Human Beings involved in Airship, since we shook hands and amicably decided to go our separate ways, we've all been keeping fairly busy: Joe is in Italy until March, touring with his quartet; Raffa and Rainer finally finished their album, and it's completely freaking amazing; Patrick is currently freezing his butt off in Montreal, doing a Composition masters at McGill; Richard (who is also freezing his butt off, but in Maryland instead of Canada) is writing a book and recording music about his experience surviving brain cancer (gnarly!); and I, actually, haven't really been doing anything... though I did finish some weird processing stuff before I moved out to California.

So what's next? To be honest, I'm not really sure! You'll probably be hearing from us now and again, when there's news to share. I, for one, am looking forward to 2010.
